spot on! Imagine the good we could do with all that capital freed up for something other than blasting humanity to oblivion.
Francis Fukuyama (who has now renounced neoconservatism) reasoned that the “victory” of the US in the cold war meant that ultimately economic liberalism was the superior of the many flavors of socialism.
Since it would appear that the democratic socialist countries appear to be in the better standing economically right now, does that mean democratic socialism is the superior to the kind of government funded “free” market piracy we practice here?
